What annoy me are that some peoples here keep on glorifying Communist Party of China Economic Achievements and every shit and crimes they did in the past are unimportant and forgivable plus their Whitewashing of CCP history. China Economic Development was delayed 30 years by the Crazy Mao who killed more Chinese in Peace than in War.

What limpeh2 say about Epoch Times founded & funded by Falun Gong & partially funded by the CIA are true. I would suggest to listen to it with an open mind. Many of their accusations against CCP are true facts too.

Yes, I have heard that often about this Epoch Times. Maybe they are funded by the CIA or MI5 whatnot. But it is ridiculous that whenever they report something negative about China, some people are instantaneous to react by saying that "oh Epoch Times..don't you know...."...as if that makes the news they print becomes untrue.

In this day and age when the internet is there to verify anything and everything, such retorts obviously is meant to divert readers from the message content to the messenger - rather than check out the facts from other sources to confirm or refute what was stated in the Epoch Times.

Apparently, some people here think what is unpleasant should be swept under the carpet and only the rose tinted news ought to be read. In a way it is a commie form of thinking.

You guys seems to be judging from news and books but in real life,most of my Chinese colleagues and customers are very satisfied with the current govt and they are reinforcing this views every forthnight I am there!

About the list of nations not attending the ceremony...they read like a list of banana republics with questionable pedigree. In case of Russia, the Russians had already said their ambassador will not attend the ceremony due to admin reasons, and it has nothing to do with any boycott vis a vis China.

a very simple fact here, alot of pro china people here like to think that when we talk about human right in china, we are trying to be a western lackey and anti china.

You don't pay a few tens of millions of dollars annually to fund a subversive publication to not get results. After all, the CIA is not PAP. They'll fund a subversive, shit-stirring enterprise only for as long as it produces results and continue to kick up a stink.
