June 2, 2012 The Chosun Ilbo
Girls' Generation released an elaborate teaser video on Thursday for their new single "Paparazzi," which is set to be
released in Japan, and the clip received 443,348 views on You Tube within less than two days.
The grand production scale of the video is especially notable. It took 120 stage crew members one week to build the
set, a mini-replica of New York's Broadway lit up with over 30,000 light bulbs to resemble the streets of the Big Apple.
Some 300 extras participated in making the five versions of the music video.
Grammy Award-winning producer Miles Walker and mastering engineer Tom Coyne of Sterling Sound also worked on
the song. To reflect its theme, a dance routine somewhat akin to a shutter clicking speedily was inserted into the
choreography.
