What is Gilbert Goh up to for attacking Law Minister Shanmugam for getting involved in the death of the boy who fell because of contractor did not install the window grills which was agreed on?

Does Gilbert Goh know this unfortunate accident happens in the Law Minister's GRC? So why can't he intervene?

The house owner is at fault.....look, if payment were made properly, will any contractor, come install only the windows without the grills?? unusual right?....they usually install windows together with the grills, unless the house owner, does not want them.

The owner with 6 children of a certain "race"...must be behind in payment...or told the contractor, install the windows first, later the grills when he owns have money....now a tragedy occur....try to shirk responsibility & got the MP involved...

it is very common for the renovation contractors to make promises but not deliver. the Law Minister should setup a hotline so these people can contact him.

Next parliament will discuss the budget increase to add a new ministry and to appoint a right person to be "Renovation Contract Minister".

Yes, that is the problem, but most of us, are trying to hide the knowledge that certain 'race' are fond of, extending more than they can afford!. This security "guard' has 6 children, sold a previous property move to a new one, engage a contractor to do renovation, through FACE BOOK. You call any windows installer, windows grills usually come with the windows, whether casement , sliding or otherwise, especially for high rise. There are house owners, who doe not want grills, so, window installer, will install windows without grills; but normally, they bring all together & install it on the same day & it takes as fast as half a day to install.

What must have happened, is that this house owner of a certain 'race', did not have enough MONEY, must have made delayed payment or make arrangement with windows installer, install the windows first, pay for that & grills later, when get 'gaji'...

If one have enough money to engage a contractor..will this happen, of course, there are unfortunate case of BAD CONTRACTOR...but then again, do not think, this is the case....MP is getting involve for 'mileage' & the house owner, is at fault too.

Contractor only wants money...pay on time....will the grills be omitted?
