My opinion:
Follow the Hong Kong system (minus the meddling from mainland China). Municipal town council issues dealt with by one batch of MPs. Legislative law making dealt with by another batch of MPs. Final batch of MPs is the executive branch, ministers from there.
It is the refinement of the Brits' Parliamentary system, which could have also been the trajectory of Sinkie politics, but LKY began to fix the opposition in the 1980s and installed his idiotic son as the successor-in-waiting.
No GRCs. Calling Clementi part of Jurong is simply a slap in the face for Clementi residents. I'm sure there are other places which suffered a similar indignity.
Two weeks of campaigning should be enough. Also, until the local pressitutes substantially improve on their 158th press freedom ranking, opposition members probably shouldn't participate in those rigged tv debates.
