There is a need to. Because even the PAP didn't expect there are so many morons in Singapore despite how they been screwed over and over again by the PAP. They need to find out what the fuck these morons are thinking so as get more morons to think this way and in 2021 GE they attain 90%. After the 2016 GE, people from other countries are already calling us the most ball-less human beings on earth.
