This is something I am against entirely.

Not to say I am not biased towards same sex relationships in general, but to think that they want to start a "normal" family? Impossible!!

Firstly, same sex marriage is alreaady, in it's own way; not thought of by most as a NORMAL family.

Whichever gender the child they want to adpot, there could be issues that the child(ren) develop over time.

Face it, children look to their parents and elders, and these people usually influence them in the way they think and their life experiences could wel be affected when in a same sex marriage family.

If same sex marriage couples want children.. do it themselves.. for the gay men, donate sperm, find a surrogate mother (if allowed wherever they are) and then hope and pray for the gender desired.

For the lesbians, get ready to be impregnated by someone's sperm..

It's that simple to me.. don't take the easy way out and adopt children.. don't cop-out like that.

And.. aren't there cases of same sex marriage couples who adopt children and later were found to be abusing the children??

I say, "no".. No to same sex marriage, as they are not normal relationships. and a definite NO to allow same sex marriage couples to adopt children. The effects and influence on the child could be devasting.
