The Malaysian Prime Minister underwent a minor surgery to remove a small benign growth on his right hand at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) yesterday.

Lee tweeted Saturday: "Glad to hear your procedure today was successful. Wishing you a speedy recovery and see you soon. - LHL."

In a statement, HKL said Najib underwent the operation as an outpatient and the prime minister had returned home to rest. – Bernama, January 10, 2016.
