Watching gripping action on the pitch calls for hassle-free snacks. These little crostinis are a tasty Saturday night treat. Just remember to brush your teeth before you start cheering for the team of your choice.


Garlic crostinis

1/2 baguette, sliced

1 whole head of garlic

1/4 tsp parsley

1/4 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp basil

1/4 sage

1/2 tsp salt

50g softened butter




Peel garlic and pound into paste. Mix in the parsley, oregano, basil, sage and salt.

Slice bread and spread butter and the garlic paste on each slice.

Toast until golden brown.
