resorting to casinos to pump up the economy, getting addicted to cheap foreign labour are not going down the slippery slope of mismanagement?
casinos and cheap foreign labour bring short term gratifications/reliefs but incur severe long term implications in the future

yes..the flood gates are opened:
1. crimes
2. vices
3. bad law and order
4. bad social behaviours
5. overcrowding
6. affective divide
7. increased social problems
etc..
the pap has led Singapore on the wrong path..it's difficult to turn back

the pap has already given casino licences to MBS at Marina and RWS at Sentosa...these are prime areas. where else can be better than these two places?
is it too far fetched to think that the pap may grant a casino licence in Orchard Road shd it be desperate enough?

i think the pap gave an undertaking that it will give the first two casinos exclusivity for 10years...and this started in 2010.
even if the exclusivity ends in 2020, it doesnt mean that the pap will be desperate enough to immediately give out more licences after the undertaking ends...so it can be anytime after 2020...depends on how desperate the pap is at that time

if we are desperate enough, we might not honour that exclusivity...haha!!...heard from the grapevine....things can always change
