Gahmen needs to come clean on those cases classified as "work permit holders not residing in domintories"

Out of the total community cases to date on 13 Aug, there are 557 confirmed cases of work permit holders not residing in dorms. Out of these, there are 194 unlinked cases. :cautious:

Based on the MOH Situation Report as at 14 Aug, there are 2,201 confirmed community cases, which now includes work permit holders not residing in dormitories, residents and work pass holders. Out of these, there are 809 cases which remain unlinked. :cautious:

What do you mean by quid pro quo? Other countries allowing Singaporeans working there to travel to and fro?
I should think so.

But first thing is to understand under what basis those non Singaporeans had been allowed to enter(or is re-enter?) Singapore.

Just going by the newspaper reports would again lead to assumptions and conjecture.

Most of the imported cases in recent weeks have been work permit holders, work pass holders or PRs. Not Singaporeans returning home.

For example, on 14 Aug there were 4 imported cases:

-- 1 year old Indian male travelled from India (dependent's pass holder)
-- 32 year od Indian female travelled from India (dependent's pass holder)
-- 32 year old Indian male travelled from India (work pass holder)
-- 38 year old Indian male travelled from India (work pass holder)

Yeah, so like I said above what is the basis for allowing these non Singaporeans into Singapore? Newspaper reports do not appear to answer this question.

The basis is not revealed in the MOH daily reports either. It appears that PAP is pandering to the whims of the foreigners, which is not surprising.

Perhaps... still an assumption though...

In any event I don't have much of a problem with this so long as they are ring fenced until cleared and are responsible for all costs and expenses.

Basis on which the work pass/work permit is issued is another matter altogether.
