Today’s top hit on social media would definitely have to be the story of how a parent told his daughter that he will cause trouble for a hawker stall because of what the hawker did to the former’s daughter.

If you think its not too big a deal, you need to give it another thought.

To be honest, this is a perfect example of discrimination.

While it’s not known how the hawker told the little girl to put back the eating utensils which she took without permission, the parent of the child did not have the right to react in such a way.

And to make matters worse, he chose to teach his child to not only lie but falsely accuse another party. What sort of values is he imparting on to his children?

the kids are innocent. they won't know the unwritten rules at hawker centers. it's the duty of parents to teach their kids civic rules. otherwise they will grow up snatching away tissue packets that "chope" tables - a rebel rule that i like to promote.

This man, is a good example of the 'product' manufactured by the PAP, their education system & their 'brain-washing'....just look around you, when you observe children, less than 30% have manners....or even being gracious or even some thoughtfulness....

This type of issue almost Everyday also have. Some posted in internet slamming the Hawkers if they did not get freebies or more stuff from Hawkers.

Some may even take photos of houseflies dunno from where and send to NEA. NEA will go check on the Hawkers and pick on other things the found. Hawkers get demerit points and suspensions.

So common. People not in hawker's business do not understand/knows how much grievances they went through from such people and landlord.
