A Real Incident To Share.
A local Singapore-born (have completed NS and even received latest NS vouchers) works as a taxi driver. (just cari makan)
He pays rental of $100/- per day to COMFORT and takes home about $70- per day after minusing the rental of $100, diesel of around $30 (depending on how many kilometres covered from morning 7 am till 5pm (total 10 hours on our dangerous roads). What to do? Cari Makan and Liow Sikaaan.
Once met two boastful Indian FTs from Millennia Tower, Suntec City, who asked to be driven to TWO destinations. Driver agreed grudgingly.
Along the way the Indian FTs started to chide the driver for doing a low-class work and disgracing Indians in general. Wow so concerned, mehhh......
Driver replied in the affirmative that it was true that he was a hopeless case here and a let down to the Indian diaspora.
BUT he also told them that he owns 27 acres of fertile agricultural land in India which costs about a few hundred thousand US dollars.
On top of that, his two sons are high-fliers - one a Colonel in the Army and the other a well-known lawyer.
His wife works as a Vice president of a Financial institution.
The two bums immediately shut down their filthy and stinking mouth and just got off at their destinations.
This is PERCEPTION in the eyes of these foreigners.
The locals (Indians) should never allow this to take deep roots.
The Govt don't help any citizen (originals) here. All cari their own makan. Pay for own medical care too.
What has the Government has to say, especially SHAME MORGAN who is now meeting Kerry???????????
