A recent online poll has chosen Singaporeans as the most repulsive and detestable people among several Asian nationalities.
The poll was conducted in the ¡°Lion City Life¡± forum (ʨ³ÇÉú»î), which is frequented by Chinese nationals who live in Singapore.
Singaporeans garnered the highest proportion of votes at 48.15%, followed by Indians at 17.28%, and Japanese at 8.64%. The other choices were Filipinos, Malays, Malaysians, Chinese nationals and Koreans. All the other choices received votes ranging from 2% to 7%.
Oddly, in a forum of Chinese nationals, Malaysians got the lowest proportion of votes at 2.47%, lower than Chinese nationals, who received 3.7% of the votes.
The poll, started by a forumer named ¡°sayangweiwei¡± was titled: ¡°After coming to Singapore, everyone here would have had some contact with people from different countries. Which of these nationalities represent the people that you think are the most repulsive and detestable?¡±
The poll was already taken down when the InSing team checked the forum.
