A Foriegn Talent came to sg in the year 2000.
He worked here & there managed to open a company or 2, dealing in God knows what.
Managed to apply for a PR and stated getting some bank credit cards and fast cash services. Managed to roll them for a few years and in year 2002.
Since,he was a PR, he got a flat, a 5 room flat which was cheap then, since he had many of his foriegn friends around, he partitioned his 5 room flat and just lived off rent.
Along came Mah Bow Tan, who stopped building flats and HDB flat prices shot up. The PR now thought of getting rid of his flat.
He made some hefty profit by selling the 5 room flat in 2009.
By the way, his credit card and fast cash bills chocked up.
He did not even pay HDB a several months of installment.
Nevertheless, upon the sale, he made about SGD$100,000.
His credit card & fast cash with several banks was also another few $100,000.
He has since, left the country. Last I heard, he is happily married and living in a fine house back in his home country. He has a shop, doing some trading.
What a nice happy ending, By the way this is not a story. It is real.
I have living proof and documents, if need be, to show.
How nice, Singapore抯 system has been to this person.
Now the burden of paying for the flat for the next 30years.
The credit card bad debts, will be ours & your children(I am stilll single, no kids yet.)
He will forever remember uncle lee.
Now, Lets go for a countdown party.
