When I was growing up, no such thing. Only Mee, Mee Kia, Kuay Teow, Bee Hoon, Bee Tai Mak.

Growing up on got to eat home cooked Mee Hoon Kueh. Then in the 90s, a few sinkies came out. It's nice hokkien food with Mani cai. Not many can do it well except a stall in a shop opposite the old bus terminal in Bt Merah (oppo the Sisir).

Bit if JHK starting to invade takeover especially with lousy food & inflated prices, it should close soon.
