My friends and I used to go to Pink or Red panther for our square box cut (wanted the Bros or depeche mode look). Then one day we got "caught" by some lanjiao kiah gangsters there who tried to extort $200 from us. After bargaining down to 150, we told them to wait while we go get the cash... And never returned until ten years ago. Traumatic memories that fucking place. LOL

The only constant is change, so it hardly surprises me that those of us over 50 on this forum may feel overwhelmed by the pace of change in SG. Many of the sights and sounds we grew up with are simply no longer there at the places we once ate, played, shopped or simply hung out at.
