Froggy's lifestyle in HK

I think Halsey has a point. Level of wastage is a relative concept. If you could more than afford the wastage, you might just begin to see it as a lifestyle choice. Lifestyle is an exhibition of your taste and personality, and at this point wastage would be the least of your concerns.

If you ask around people who wear Casio and Timex, many would see Rolex or Grand Seiko as wastage. The same group of people who struggle to pay the monthly installments for Toyota Altis or Honda Jazz might also see a Lexus as wastage. But let's not forget the proceeds of sale for any Rolex or Lexus go towards feeding families with children too, from the car mechanics to the watch salesman, not forgetting the cleaner in the showroom. The truth is nothing will be wasted.
yes it's all relative. for example, my orchard grows 6.9 types of fruit and i would be the only resident in my neighborhood seen climbing a ladder and trees to pick them. i would turn excess amount into jam not to waste any fruit. my high ses tiong neighbors just leave their fruit on trees and never bother to touch them. they are like decorations in their yards, just to show off to all that they too have orchards. very wasteful. they don't think high ses neighborhood residents should climb trees. look like monkeys. as for me, can eat don't waste. they drive lexus i drive hyundai. they wear rolex i wear nothing. great to go back to ape and ah meng roots. to each his own.

end of the day - it's waste not, want not.
the first part should be easy for most, while the second one will vary with the circumstances one had / is / and will undergo - so it's correct that it's relative to the situation at hand (not referring to holding a 100 bucks and still having it after letting the fingers do the walking).
as they say, thesis then followed by anti-thesis and thereafter, it all cums together as synthesis :x3:

waste is waste,it does not depend on some arbitrary figure or whether or not it make it ur concern.......it is a sin punishable by dante's 7 levels of hell,in which one of the level trump is residing in.if a billionaire or a Chinese pop star decide to have a 20 million dollar wedding, millions upon millions which will go into the decorations and the ostentatious display of gluttony and wealth and all of his guests to be given a complimentary toothpick made of fine elephant ivory and a fur coat made out of the finest dachshund coat ,all the garbage and trash creating in the aftermath a torrent of waste and environmental damage.the amount of raw materials going towards building a tycoon's playboy mansion or super yatch or blow in one night at the bacarrat table, the man should be ashamed of himself....u might think of money as nothing more than pieces of paper, but each dollar represents the blood sweat and tears that another human being has toiled for under the sun and deprived of or a precious resource that have been extracted from mother earth.when u are a billionaire,or a real estate tycoon u are merely the guardian or the steward of god or whichever higher power's properties and resources that have been placed on earth......it is ur duty, like chuck feeney to see that each and every dollar is deployed responsibiliy and meaningfully to help ur fellow man or to further the human race.

so u are ok with wastage because u believe in trickle down effect?i can feed families with children when i buy a packet of chicken rice,i can do that too when i ride the bus and shop at giant supermarket......why do i have to buy a rolex or Audi?how much do the thousands of workers get paid for making those iphones?like 10 percent of the cost price?how much does apple make when they sell each iphone?when u buy an iphone or rolex or BMW u are only feeding the greedy pockets of corporate greed.thats why i only support xiao mi.......go google on youtube videos and see how kind and benevolent xiao mi is to their users and customers, unlike profiteering pirates like that steve jobs.
