yes that's the correct option, but im afraid i will break it again... and it was quite scary and also to clean up all that broken glass...
If you are afarid of breaking a new shelf, you might want to consider putting less on that shelf.

Such coincidence. Water has been leaking out of my fridge from the bottom. Anyone can help?

Was wiping shelf tsken out from fridge. No electricity so fridge defrosted, so glass fell all over floor
How old is your fridge
I've never had any problems with the shelving of any fridge. Obviousely the shelve failed because of glass fatigue & a new shelf may not suffer the same?
Maybe it's time to consider getting a new & more reliable fridge instead of looking for a work around.
Fridge quite new. I just happened to drop the glass while wiping it . I had taken itout of the fridge since the fridge was defrosting. Thats why i say im no good with glass
See where the leak . Buy silicon tube those gel tube use to stick glass together just few dollar one tube.
Brother, the problem is, I can't lift the fridge up...to heavy.....there is no leakage at the interior. The water seem to be dripping from the "leg" at the corner of the fridge.
wat? ... water dripping down ze leg? ... ur fridge squirted? ...... The water seem to be dripping from the "leg" at the corner of the fridge.
Just get a replacement from the agent.
Using the official part will ensure a correct fit & longevity. If you just get a piece of glass it might not fit or might not be tough enough to last. The glass shelves found in fridges are usually tempered glass i.e. strong.
