What a responsibility shirker. MOE, that is. Wasn't it MOE who created elite schools such only the top students end up in IP schools? Has not the IP system forced the pressure in schools from secondary level down to primary level?

Now MOE has the gall to tell parents to change perception about neighbourhood schools. Well, if MOE really claims that neighbourhood schools are are good as elite ones, let's scrap all forms of elitism in schools - SAP schools included.

MOE should just relook at the entire school syllabus and stop its rigid ways.

Look at its mother tongue policy - now most students cannot speak proper English nor Mother Tongue and have lost their REAL mother tongue.

Look at M'sia - most of their Chinese students can speak English, Mandarin, Bahasa, and a couple of dialects. And without private tuition.

Current schools system cannot even fix the transport to and from school. Cafeterias sell unhealthy, expensive junk. Kids have no sense of dress and scared of domestic animals. Full of crap.
