Thief steals man's wallet - then saves his life

A few seconds later, the drunken man stands up, wobbles towards the edge of the platform, and then falls over.

A bystander watches him do so, but incredibly turns his back on the scene, as a subway train approaches.

The thief, on the other hand, can be seen running down the platform, past other commuters, to reach the fallen drunk and pull him back on to the platform.

Maybe he didn't get enough and went back for more.

The thief has a heart, which is more than what I can say for the other commuters.

What it shows that sometimes petty criminals are more moral than non-criminals. The only reason why these people steal is that they're probably broke and hungry and desperate; on the other hand, the non-criminals are probably more well-off and see no reason to risk a jail sentence, but in many other ways are most likely incredibly selfish, unsympathetic and unscrupulous.
