This Sunday, February 20 around 10:50 a.m., the behavior of a man alerted the authorities in Avranches, in the Manche department. Indeed, according to our information, the Caucasian individual, possibly Chechen, entered the Saint-Gervais church during mass. He then walked around the religious building playing rap music with his phone, then shouted “Allahu Akbar” several times
The individual then left the church and fled. Several police forces have since been mobilized to find the unarmed man. After these acts of glorification of terrorism, the Office of the fight against terrorism was notified. More information to come.
