Friday, December 24, at around 6.30 p.m., police officers intervened on rue Albert-Tomey in Carcassonne, following an incident that had just happened at Saint-Vincent church.
According to reports from L’Indépendant, a drunken man broke in during the Christmas service, shouting to anyone who would listen that he was a Muslim.
Very quickly arrested by the police, present to secure places of worship during this festive period, this 52-year-old Moroccan was taken to the police station for a necessary sobering up. No complaints were filed.
