A concert organized in the cathedral of Metz (Moselle), Sunday April 14, 2024, around 5 p.m., was disrupted by five teenagers who burst into the building. One of them shouted “Allah Akbar ”, according to information from Valeurs Actuelles confirmed by Lorraine Actu .
The teenagers then fled before being arrested a few minutes later and placed in police custody , a police source tells us.
Of Turkish origin, the teenagers are aged 15 to 17 and are unknown to the police. This Tuesday, there is only one minor left in police custody.
According to the police, an investigation should continue in parallel with police custody.
For their part, those responsible for Metz Cathedral did not file a complaint, according to the police.
