A teenager, born in Yemen, was arrested and taken into custody on Friday for “carrying off a prohibited weapon” and “holding terrorist images,” according to the revelations of current judicial values. Suspected of being radicalized, he was caught in possession of a knife in the courtyard of the Albert-Camus College of Brunoy (Essonne), in which he was in school. The management of the institution warned the authorities.

The young man is also suspected of having numerous photos and videos of an Islamist terrorist nature in his mobile phone. During the search, the investigators found that the phone had been reset to factory conditions. As a result, all the photos and videos have disappeared. However, the security forces were able to seize computer equipment during the search.
