SINGAPORE: Narcotics officers arrested four drug traffickers and seized 2.8 kilograms of heroin with a street value of S$419,000.
Officers have been tracking a 35-year-old suspected drug trafficker who constantly changed the location of his drug store to avoid detection.
The suspect was finally arrested on August 3 in the vicinity of Choa Chu Kang Crescent.
A raid, on what's believed to be the suspect's drug store, uncovered a hidden walk-in-wardrobe in a bedroom.
Apart from the drugs, officers found paraphernalia used for drug packing and consumption as well as cash amounting to S$1,750.
A separate ambush at Hillview Avenue led to the arrest of three others - the trafficker's suspected client and two other accomplices.
If convicted, all four face the death penalty.
