Venetia Fountain Pen (Limited Edition)

Visconti’s Venetia fountain pen pays tribute to Venice, one of the most culturally influential cities of the past 1,500 years. The Venetia limited edition is a masterpiece of symbols and icons; its canals, gondolas, bridges, and renaissance windows are artfully etched onto the 925 sterling silver filigree overlay. The black resin barrel is adorned with a unique clip shaped like the bow of a gondola and set with 10 blue crystals and a single pearl. The fountain pen offers the amazingly flexible Visconti 23K 950 palladium nib and is limited to 421 pieces. The Venetia is presented in a gorgeous lacquered wood box with a custom-engraved Venetia crystal ink bottle. The pen uses cartridges or the supplied converter.

Venetia vermeil fountain pen

Cap and body in deep blue acryloide with bronze curled veins. The filigree outside the barrel is in vermeil (gold plated sterling silver) carefully decored with designs of Ventian architecture.

The metal barrel-shell is decorated with typical Vential architecture elements: archs and facade windows, bridges between canals.

The clip represents the Venetian gondolas: the satin shape is a boat, sailing towards the canal, and the polished area is the traditional shape of the "ferro di prua", the ornamental counterweight on the front.

The silver pen is packed in a polished wood box, with special place for the inkpot.

Van Gogh "Portrait in Blue" Fountain Pen

The pen is inspired on Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting, "Portrait in Blue", 1889, oil on canvas. This painting is one of his many self portraits: this particulair portrait was made in Saint-Rémy and hangs in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
The name of the painting and artist are delicately engraved around the pen's ring, and each pen is packed into a unique gift box that is complemented with a faithfully reproduced canvas of the painting. The pen itself utilizes Visconti's eighteen-faceted design, the many edges enhancing the vivid colors of the pen.



The pen has a stainless steel nib, available in several line widths (23 kt palladum Dreamtouch nib optional), and uses standard international cartridges or the supplied converter.

Rembrandt Purple Fountain Pen / Rollergraphic Gift Set

The Visconti Rembrandt pen is a wonderful tribute to this Old Dutch Master. His painting technique, the chiaroscuro, is now re-proposed by Visconti in this collection – classical and dramatic like only masterpieces are.

The pens range in different colours - apparently plain that reveal at a closer look chiaroscuro nuances which render unique every single pen.

Christian Bible Fountain Pen (Limited Edition)

This Christian Bible fountain pen by Visconti is turned into single resin ivory (coloured) bars and the cap has the same dimensions of the pen shaft. This choice reminds us to the partition in Old Testament (the pen body) and New Testament (the cap).
In the shaft the Visconti artist has represented the story of the Old Testament according to its most significant scenes: Adam and Eve, Noah’s Arch, David and Goliath, Abraham and Isaac, Moses and the Decalogue, while on the cap we find scenes of Jesus’ life: His Birth, His Baptism, the Last Supper, and the Ascent to Heaven.
The head and blind cap, with their 10 lateral facets, remind us of the Decalogue- their form and the engraving in Hebrew on the blind cap recall the two stone tablets. The Holy Graal is hidden inside the blind cap and has the function of activating the Power Filler.

Painting Technique: entirely made in Florence and inspired by Dürer’s xylographies, it’s a PAINTED SCRIMSHAW which has never been performed before on a pen and it’s very rare on other objects being a very difficult technique.
According to this technique, resin is drypoint engraved, and then filled in with calcography ink and finally coloured, thanks to the fine artwork of CLAUDIO MAZZI.

The fountain pen has an 18 kt gold nib.

Caran d'Ache's 1010 Limited Edition fountain pen is an elegant tribute to Swiss watches
As an aspiring writer, I can fully appreciate the importance of a pen and more than that, the importance of time (those crazy deadlines!). That's why Caran d'Ache's 1010 Limited Edition fountain pen, which is a tribute to the Swiss watch making industry, strikes a chord with me. I remember walking into watch stores as a kid and wondering why all the watches are set to 10:10. Apparently, it is because that is when the hands on the dial are perfectly balanced and the name of the limited edition derives its inspiration from here. I love the casing of the pen; it reminds you of the gears of watches. Also, it looks extremely elegant due to the rhodium-coated silver. Two cages, one decorated with gear wheels, and the other with the bridges that link them, are fitted over a transparent body. Needless to say, the effect is very elite. The cap which is polished by hand is based on watch crowns. I love the piston pump set with a ruby and a sapphire crystal dome at the bottom tip of the pen containing a balance wheel poised between two rubies. It looks marvelous; especially since ruby happen to be my favorite stone.
