Former Singapore Chief Statistician Paul Cheung: Singapore can still accommodate more

Re: Former Singapore Chief Statistician Paul Cheung: Singapore can still accommodate

To be fair (at least from my unlearned point of view), 700sq.km can take a 7-million population relaxingly and profitably for all if the public infrasture, economic system and social balance is right.

The operative word is IF.... IF the balance is right .... IF the infrastructure is right

Another point to add is that in Hong Kong, their Housing Prices is astronomical... the range is about HKD 20,000 per square feet to HKD 100,000 per square feet... and GROWING! (bubbles bubbles bubbles)

YES, but what are the WAGES in Hong Kong relative to housing prices?

Why we hire a HKee to be our chief statistician?

Why not hire someone from OZ or NZ?

Then the outcome will be different!!!
