Former Indian Aviation Minister slams SIA for Air India's crash

Ha ha ha well done… the truest form of Kak Leng Kia…. Back stabbing at the best…
Hopefully now those pappies know and understand the job about “The snake and the Kak Leng Kia” joke.
It is in their genes to backstab.

His term as Civil Aviation Minister was a few before SIA's venture into India. He probably planned it but didn't get a chance to reap the rewards hence try to sabo SIA now.
Air India CEO / COO / CTO all Jiak Liao Bee wan?
All sleeping or dreaming ?

PAP wants quantity, not quality. It wants the GLCs to have access to the India market, in exchange for alleviating some of India's unemployment. That's all there is to it.
All the PAP has achieved is to increase S'pore's own unemployment and underemployment of local graduates.

Why should SIA, a minority shareholder at 25%, be responsible for Air India's maintenance?
Maintenance is separate from Operations. SIA charges Air India based on work done. And planes should be fit to fly till the next service schedule

I am sure the maintenance contract should be one of the agreements of the 25% share sale.

If SIA is supposed to fulfil the maintenance (and airworthiness check) then the Ceca ex aviation minister has a point

Anyone who deals with Indians will lose money or life

The negotiators from the S'pore Govt ignored this warning before signing the CECA. Now, hundreds of thousands of PME jobs meant for S'poreans have been lost to Indian PMEs.

Chinese too. If job not done, always blame others.
Ask anyone working in an MNC full of Indians, and they'll tell you that when things go well, they take all the credit. When things go wrong, they put the blame on others.

Chinese tend to be hypocritically humble: "No la... not my effort la.. credit must go to the whole team la..."
