No lah bro,,,I have a 7 day Adventist fren overseas,,he not allowed to eat pork cos the bible say cannot eat meat from animals with Hooves or what ever...in the Acts of the Apostles,,,they say Christians cannot eat unclean meat,,and by definition unclean is pork,,,but today many still eat it,,,yum yum,,,,but of course in another verse,,Jesus told St Peter to 'kill and eat'..but it was not referring eating meat but allowing now Jews to convert to Christianity.

People who think that pork is dirty and beef is clean ought to have their brains examined. Every time you eat meat that's raw or not properly cooked and processed, you run the risk of falling ill.

Some of the pathogens in beef:

1. E. coli (food poisoning)
2. Salmonella (food poisoning)
3. Campylobacter (diarrhoea)
4. Listeria (abortion)
5. Liver flukes (gut parasitosis)
6. BSE (mad cow's disease)

Trying to justify why only pork should be avoided on scientific grounds is a nonsense. If your Allah or Yahweh tells you not to eat pork, it's your prerogative. Just don't give me the crap that pork is dirty and all the other meats are clean.
