SINGAPORE: The body of a Malay man believed to be in his 20s was recovered from the Singapore River Thursday morning.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force received a call about a man falling into the river near Coleman Bridge at about 7am this morning.

A search was conducted by divers from SCDF's Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team.

The body was found about 45 minutes later.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. - CNA/jy

beer licence till 6am, by the Licence Board.
what are they trying to prove.??

Give the (almost usually Singaporean) pub owners a break, will you. They need to make money.

it's all about $$MONEY$$.

gov wants the taxes so they leegalised pubs. smoking is bad for health, so instead of banning they up the taxes. gambling is also bad but who cares! so they put in 2 casinoes in a little red dot while matland has only one.

it's money...and more money.

perhaps it's about time they also leegalise more whorehouses. more people are getting really frustrated.
