Ang Mo Kio GRC MP Jasmin Lau deserves all the criticism aimed at her for tone deaf comments suggesting that S'poreans are not having children because they have "tasted a good and rich life at a young age" and are reluctant to give up that lifestyle. She has to be kicked out of the Govt's Marriage & Parenthood Reset Workgroup, since she has no clue about the lives of the average S'porean.

Ang Mo Kio voters all "tasted a good and rich life at a young age" and should start to repay back with their whole family lives .... :FU:

Out of touch AMK GRC MP Jasmin Lau believes that her residents are happy to live cheek by jowl in pigeon holes and never be able to afford a car in S'pore.

Jasmin Lau must be earning a comfortable salary so the cost of having 1 -2 children is affordable to her. While she enjoys a stable employment and MP allowance, the hoi polloi are facing rising expenses such as housing, COE premiums, education, food and no job security since the PAP has opened the floodgates to CECAs holding fake degrees or qualifications from degree mills in India.

The PAP MPs appear disconnected from the ground in spite of feedback on this issue for decades. Not only are policymakers hearing our feedback, but not listening, the MPs are unfairly placing responsibility on S'poreans instead of addressing issues like the rising cost of living, job insecurity, unfair competition from foreign PMETs etc. Everything is unaffordable in S'pore now - including raising children.

Public policies appear to be steered by a uniformed approach that suffers from having a surfeit of the same tired and safe ideas that have outlived their usefulness in a fast changing world. When “groupthink” is entrenched like in the Civil Service, it will be difficult for individuals to stand up for what they believe. Those who disagree with the dominant interests of the group may be quickly marginalised.

Raising kids in Sinkieland is child abuse. Don't do it.

I highly encourage every Sinkie male to get a vasectomy, and every Sinkie female to get a tubal ligation or hysterectomy, once they reach the minimum legal age.
