With effect from 1 Jan 2013, the electricity tariff for households will be 26.28 cents per kWh.

Bet most ppl dont even know this. :(

There are certain things that are as certain as the sun rise. One was Malaysia when Singapore wanted to gain independence through Malaysia. That we know is history. Now rate increases are as certain as the sun rise.
 
HDB just announced an increase in valuation fees. With effect from 01 Jan 2013, only softcopy valuation reports will be provided by HDB. The new fees for valuation request through resalenet submission are as follows:

For HDB 1 & 2 room - $143.05 (inclusive of GST)
For HDB 3 room & larger - $201.90 (inclusive of GST)

The hardcopy valuation report will be discontinued by HDB so as to better protect our environment.

Either your english got problem or your brain got problem. Electric tariffs went down in Q4 2012 and also Q1 2013
