Fined for driving 'triple-decker' lorry
A stingy boss went to extreme lengths to save himself a pretty penny — by creating this traffic pile-up.
Cargo firm boss Sun Lin had just picked up the flat bed lorries but didn't want to splash out three sets of road tolls or on hiring two extra drivers to get them home.
So he had them loaded up piggy-back style one on top of the other and then tried to manoeuvre the heavy load more than 100 miles to his trucking yard in the Anhui province, central China.
But his plan backfired when astonished traffic cops fined him £500 for having the dangerous load.
Sun said: "I wasn't going to pay three sets of tolls or for more drivers so I got the seller to use a crane to load them on top of each other.
"They were perfectly safe until the police interfered.
