If you check properly, it was Netanyahu that created Hamas. It was done to weakened the Palestinian authority fatah (PLO) movement. But nobody expected hamas to win the election. A win that was deemed free and fair but was not recognised by the west. Until today, the west dare not h9ld palestine election again fearing same result.
