Can drive how fast on Sinkie road at peak hour of 830am?

you buy it for the sound of the engine, prestige and tell people you are filthy rich. Not to speed around. But the high acceleration is useful for overtaking.

Curse of the £170,000 Ferrari: TEN of its latest model are crashed or gutted by fire in three months

By Daily Mail Reporter
Last updated at 11:11 PM on 23rd August 2010

The latest Ferrari supercar is being plagued
by a mysterious jinx - after ten of them crashed or were gutted by fire.

In the past three months, six 200mph Ferrari 458 Italias have been
involved in accidents, three have caught fire and one was
wrecked in a warehouse blaze.

There is no apparent technical fault with the £170,000 supercar -
it appears the owners are simply the victims of bad luck.

The 458 was launched in the spring to high acclaim - Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson described it as 'one of the all-time greats'.

The new Ferrari's 'jinx' emerged on website www.wreckedexotics.com,
which documents all supercar crashes and contains details of
£300million worth of wrecked Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches and Bugattis.

Website founder Greg Carlson said: 'I knew there would be crashes but I
didn't expect there to be so many so soon.
It's not uncommon for new exotic models to start off with a few crashes.

Ferrari confirms 458 Italia recall

Ferrari has confirmed that it is recalling all of its 458 Italia cars following a string of high-profile fires around the world.

More than 1,200 examples of the supercar will be modified after an investigation by the manufacturer revealed that adhesive used in the cars construction is liable to overheating, and in extreme cases it can catch fire.

Ferrari will replace the use of the adhesive in the wheel-arch assemblies and heatshield with rivets. Owners of the 458s destroyed by fire will each receive a new model.

Pictures and video of the £170,000 supercar ablaze have been seen around the world after incidents were reported in France, Switzerland, the US and China.

Ferrari told the BBC that it had dispatched engineers to each location to establish the cause of each 'thermal incident'. The issue has not prevented the 458 from gaining universal acclaim as one of the finest cars the brand with the prancing horse has ever built.
