Many stories about our leader believing in Feng shui.
The merlion on the river mouth prevented economy "storms" from hitting the "shores" from70s to the 90s. (but it was shifted recently)
The 3 big joss stick at senoko power station since 1980 prevented our neighbor in the north from overtaking us in economy.
(one of the joss stick was tear down in recent year)
The one $ coins ensured that all races and religion carries a Ba Qua in their pocket or home to prevent bad omen and be blessed(but the ploy was seen thru and other religion refuses to carry the coin)
The Flyer was built to bring in $$$ and good luck.
(but the rotating course was force to change)
Now that fire had broke out at Flyer and Lightning Struck on the head of the Merlion...All this are sign of Bad Luck in the book of Feng shui. Some big guy's days in this piece of land are due soon..or the economy is going to collaspe.
