One is undefeated and the other near-undefeated, and both have grappling competencies closer to Angela Lee, and striking competencies closer to Xiong JingNan. Whether they're good enough to actually beat Angela and Xiong, will be a close call. On a side note, Angela and Xiong should stop trying to take each others' belts, and instead guard their own belts better.

Itsuki Hirata won, badly dominating the shocked New Zealander Nyrene Crowley.

Itsuki Hirata will be a real threat to not just Angela Lee, but to Xiong JingNan as well (Itsuki Hirata oscillates between the Atomweight and Strawweight categories, similar to Angela Lee, and she failed to make the Atomweight this time round, and apologized to New Zealander Nyrene Crowley).

If Itsuki Hirata does go up to Strawweight, she may get to fight Ayaka Miura. Both of them are comparable fighters to Angela & Xiong. While Xiong has made progress in her grappling, but Itsuki's, Ayaka's and Angela's grappling are still significantly superior and make for more entertaining MMA.

Itsuki and Ayaka may have to beat fellow Japanese Mei Yamaguchi on their way to Angela Lee and Xiong JingNan.

Actually, Ayaka Miura is scheduled to fight Singaporean Tiffany Teo in Singapore in the next couple of weeks. While Tiffany has shown great perseverance in her fights, shocking even Xiong, and having beat BJJ champion Michelle Nicolini (who beat Angela Lee both in a grappling fight and in an MMA fight, though the MMA fight should really have been a draw, but Chatri Sityodong won't allow draws), raising her confidence greatly, but in her upcoming fight against Ayaka Miura, you kinda feel sorry for her. Tiffany's a very good MMA fighter, but not almost at the level of Ayaka Miura, Itsuki Hirata, Angela Lee, Xiong JingNan, Mei Yamaguchi and Stamp Fairtex.

The only female MMA fighter who has a real chance, and could probably (most of the time, but not all of the time) beat Ayaka Miura, Itsuki Hirata, Angela Lee, Xiong JingNan, Mei Yamaguchi and Stamp Fairtex, would be China's UFC Champ Zhang WeiLi.

Oh, let's not forget new One Championship entrant from China : Meng Bo. What's her claim to fame? She's the only MMA fighter ever to have defeated UFC Champion Zhang WeiLi. But since then, Zhang WeiLi has been undefeated, while Meng Bo lost a few fights.

Two atomweights made their promotional debuts at ONE: Age of Dragons in Beijing on Saturday. Meng Bo and Ritu Phogat come from very different backgrounds, but both made big impressions at the Cadillac Arena.

Meng Bo’s main claim to fame is having beaten reining UFC bantamweight champion WeiLi Zhang. The Chinese atomweight was matched with Argentina’s Laura Balin in Beijing and needed less than three minutes to score a highlight reel knockout.

The likes of Ayaka Miura, Itsuki Hirata and Mei Yamaguchi are all in line for a shot at reigning champion Angela Lee, and Meng Bo can also consider herself to be in the challengers' mix after Saturday’s win.
