We (Singapore) founded the informal Friends of COVAX Facility (FOF) group, which we co-chair with Switzerland, to catalyse discussions about the COVAX Facility and generate a significant body of support among self-financing countries. The FOF has been a sounding-board for the Facility’s implementing partners, Gavi and CEPI, and has been closely involved in the co-creation of the Facility so that it could be a truly universal mechanism.
