Singaporeans brave traffic jam, crowds to go bargain hunting at new IKEA in Johor Baru

Mdm Fatimah purchased a Behagfull 24-piece kitchen cutlery set at RM139 (S$45). The same set costs S$55 at IKEA Singapore outlets.

Actually we Chinese are famous for these sort of things from long queues to hello kitty.

The Malays have a solid network when it comes to buying affordable things. They know the prices. For them it’s a family outing, eating out, visit kampung.

The Indians on the other are never involved. Never see them in queues or price hunting. Seriously have no idea what turns them on. In the Office, the Indians are the least responsive to these fads and price comparison. Even when it comes to properties. Malays will save up to buy a private property and you see they did their homework but the Indians I guess are driven by their parents advice.

Come On. This Fatimah only tell you half the story.
She still go massage, stop by Mydin and shop again. Her husband stop by Shell and pump his petrol to the brim. They also stop by the car wash and get their car clean up.

Yep, that seems right. Their’s is always full battle plan.

These clowns must be crazy. The time wasted to travel and get stuck in the jam is not money?

when I go to JB I go to do multiple things e.g. for cheap Makan, haircut, medication, snacks, ...etc

Warning: Nowadays it is very difficult to get to JB because of the Long, Long ....queues at the bus stop & immigration. Unlike in the past, now more Sporeans as well as foreigners are going to JB because it is CHEAP.

my uncle say fatimah queue to compensate for her $5 per hour salary. 2hours for $10 no lose no win on money but win on sight seeing.
