In a monologue of four stray and dull articles, I invite you to engage the space between your ears, to dissect and feast on your thoughts and understanding, as an individual with a beautiful mind.
Part 1: 50% drop in PR passes granted: DPM Wong
http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/Singapore/Story/STIStory_625368.html
I understand that we now reducing the number of PR’s just before the elections, prior to that I would like to know if there were any considerations made on quality as opposed to quantity, the focus was likely on quantity as we can see many workers who lack the primary language skill sets working in front line jobs, these followed by the drive to encourage Singaporeans to brush up on English is an ounce of insult buried in gangrene, that is likely to spread and infect.
Part 2: HDB to review rule on siblings
http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/Singapore/Story/STIStory_625366.html
In reference to Part 1 and given the understanding that the obvious and oblivious go hand in hand, when enabling 2 PR siblings from getting a HDB flat, clearly shows you a state of confused minds at work, the glaring side effects of such a policy is bound to push HDB prices to a new high, it makes me wonder why the 82 + 2 MPs might have lost focus, due to the heavy burden of the multiple directorships.
Or was this partial policy born out of wedlock that it had to be hidden, and can only be exposed when coming of age?
Part 3: Sands stops publicizing lucky punters
http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/Singapore/Story/STIStory_625365.html
It is indeed difficult to understand the brains behind the decision to not allow draw results or free transport from the Integrated resorts and casinos, if the genuine intent was to prevent or discourage the 80 percent of HDB dwellers from gambling, why not go above and beyond the call of duty by removing all betting booths and also cancel any form of radio and media reports that is 4D or lottery related. This two-faced edition of double standards does not seem to sell well.
Part 4: Temasek agrees to pay watchdog’s fines
http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2011/01/19/temasek-agrees-pay-watchdog%E2%80%99s-fines.html
Temasek holdings recently agreed to pay a million dollar fine, but how does this fine affect our CPF money that is loaned to ministry of Finance, who then loans it to Temasek.
How are these losses accounted for when we have our CPF totally consumed by lease hold housing debt, what’s left of it when you are jobless and indebt, and your supressed wages sink and melt into a 3rd world dimension, dark and sordid tales I am told, from darkness there can only be light.
Vote for change!
