To discourage poor SG families from visiting the already limited places of interest in SG and making way for the rich FAPies and FTrash as shown in the photo accompanying the report?

SINGAPORE - It will cost more to visit the Singapore Zoo next year as admission prices will be increased from $22 to $28 for each adult.

Children between 3-12 years old will have to pay $4 more as prices go up from $14 to $18 with effect from Jan 1, 2014.

The price revision exercise was announced on Tuesday by the Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) and the changes will affect three of its parks, including the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park; but this excludes the group's newest attraction, the River Safari.

Admission charges to the Night Safari will go up from $35 to $39 per adult, and from $23 to $25 per child (3-12 years).

Adults visiting the Jurong Bird Park will have to pay $25, instead of $20; whereas kids, aged 3 to 12 years, will have to pay $16, instead of $13.

Entry fees for senior citizens will not be affected.

There many company have coperate card to visit Zoo/bird park for free. Each card entitle to 4 person entry(adult/children).
Just ask around friends/relative/family............................whose work in those company have coperate card. Normally each company have 2~4 cards. If 2 mean can have 8 person( each cards 4 person).
That what I do if I go and still have extra entry I will ask some one Q to buy entry ticket no need to buy just follow me in for free.
