I am actually kinda confused right now as to what sort of morality is considered acceptable in this country.
As you probably know by now, 21 police reports has been filed against this 16 yr old kid by the name of Amos Yee for making a video of his personal honest opinion . Apparently for some reason, this 21 people felt that his little speech disturbed them so greatly that they have to file police reports demanding his arrest. Ok, fair enough if they are so easily spooked and that the police has proceeded to charge the kid in super quick time.
But yet, when a certain adult, a grassroot leader from the most powerful political party of this land, threaten to cut off this kid's penis and to stuff it into his mouth, none of these 21 people feel the least bit disturbed! Till now, it appears that not a single one of them felt disturbed enough to file a police report against such a barbaric threat! And despite such a threat being made publicly, the police appears nonchalant about it.







So... is it now perfectly legal to threaten to cut off someone's penis, but not legal to give a frank personal opinion that might runs contrary to popular opinions?
