Today I went to NTUC to get my organic eggs. These eggs are from New Zealand and branded as "Farmer Brown"
Been getting them for years. Originally paid $9.50 for a dozen eggs. The price then increase to $10.50 for 10 eggs, but I continue to buy them because eggs is an important part of my diet.
However when I cracked open an egg I was really shocked that the egg yolk was the same as the local eggs. The color of the egg yolk were a pale yellow & not the dark carrot like color of the past.
Anyone out there buying these eggs & noticing the difference
According to the label on the carton, these eggs are repackaged in Spore by a local distributor. I'm not sure whether there was a mistake made in Spore & the wrong eggs packaged? Or are they skimping on the quality?
Fortunately there are other brands of organic eggs out there & I will be switching these other brands.
