Assistant Professor Eugene Tan from SMU, said: "Singapore voters would be more concerned with fair play in the political system, it is something the government would have to pay attention to and something which the opposition parties can easily pick on.

"Singaporeans want to see a fair contest where parties are not unnecessarily advantaged or disadvantaged through the rules in place."

Very obvious isn't it?

PAP resorted to delineation after JBJ won Anson. To this day, winning shamelessly is all the pappies care.

And we have a shameless ministar claiming that they are becoming more 'inclusive'?

PA deputy chairman Lim Swee Say said: As a grassroots movement, we have made a big difference to the social cohesion here in Singapore.

"We are not a nation divided but yet at the same time, we are striving to become even more inclusive.

"For us to reach out more extensively and inclusively, we have to think of new ideas and explore new channels of reaching out to them."

every ruling party do gerrymandering. there's no fair play during elections, one take every advantage they can to win.
an opposition team was disqualified for being only 30 seconds late. I would want a PAP team to be disqualified for being 1 second late.

We don't need a professor to state the obvious.

That's academics for you. They inhabit a sterile vacuum of pedantic abstractions. To put it simply, they live in their own world. The obvious, visceral and common are novelties to them. :D
