Tenants at the Singapore Selegie Road Parklane Shopping Mall cry foul with the growing number of massage parlors that offers full service to clients.
According to a local newspaper – My Paper's report, tenants at the mall said that these “Full Service” massage parlors are giving the mall a bad reputation. Apparently more than 60% of these parlors located at level 3rd and 5th floor of the mall offer full sexual services including massage for their client.
Each massage session cost only S$30 – a very low attractive price to attract clientele for "extra" service. Client will be able to get “full service” for an additional $90 to $100 .
Most of the ladies that offers these massage service appeared to be from China.
"They normally market their service but first luring the clientele into the shop with sweet talk and provocative gestures. Once the clienteles are lured into the shop they will immediately suggest a full service package. Once the customer agreed, they will immediately lock the front door and lead the customer into the back room to conduct the transaction. " said a person familiar with the arrangement, "This arrangement provide better security and safe guard the customer and working girls from anti-vice police raids and checks."
Some shop owners at the mall complaints that such activities destroy the image of the mall and affect legitimate business.
