Exposed: Maids using black magic on employers
Lianhe Wanbao

A maid was exposed recently after making soup for her employer with menstrual blood. The maid was said to have collected the blood in facial cotton, put the cotton into tea bags, and made soup for her employer's family.
The maid is said to have done so to "charm" her employer's family to treat her better.
According to an industry insider familiar with maids, some maids are resorting to black magic to "charm" their employers. Cooking soup with menstrual blood isn't the only way maids try to perform such black magic.
These are the top ten ways that maids try to "perform black magic" to charm employers:
1. Make soup for the employer with menstrual blood
2. Mix powder into employer's food
3. Make a "charm potion" with fingernails clippings
4. Implanting needles into the face and hands
5. Casting a spell on the rice container
6. Keep blessed water for protection
7. Mix urine into employer's food
8. Mail the employer's photo and hair back home to have a witch-doctor cast spells on them
9. Hide fish bones under the employer's bed
10. Stuff underwear under the employer's pillow
On this phenomenon, Mr He, the owner of a maid agency cited an example in one of his clients.
A woman had found that her maid was secretly collecting her and her children's hair. The maid was secretly sending the collected hair back home and asking someone to cast spells on the hair. When the woman discovered the maid's actions, she was outraged.
Industry insiders say that as maids become higher educated, they no longer believe in these superstitious black magic rituals. But maids who come from rural areas may be more prone to doing these things behind their employer's back.
