[EXPECTED] MOH says 72-year-old woman’s death unrelated to Covid-19 vaccination!

There was no indication that a woman who died a day after she had taken her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine had any allergic reaction to the jab, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Saturday (June 19). It added that the 72-year-old had died of a heart attack earlier this month.


MOH was responding to media queries about a Facebook post by Mr Andrew Tan, who questioned if the vaccine had caused the death of his mother, Doreen Chan.


In its statement, MOH said that it was alerted to the death of the woman at Sengkang General Hospital on June 4, and that she had been vaccinated with the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine the day before.


“She had been assessed by trained healthcare personnel to be suitable for Covid-19 vaccination prior to vaccination,” MOH said without naming the deceased.

I'm surprised they didn't blame 'new mutant strains of Covid', which might even spur more kiasi Sinkies to get vaccinated. 80-90% vaxxed population is quite an achievable milestone. Fear is a reliable motivator, even a fabricated one.

I read the MOH reports everyday, and actually the answer to that question is about half. About half with symptoms and half asymptomatic.
