At native state of consciousness all living creatures/being are at basic behaviour hunting for food, kill or be killed. Humans rise above the rest and start to think and plan. To protect what we have we go to war.
When earth is over populated with humans there won't be enough of food. Ancient or modern consciousness or unconsciousness won't safe us. Only new technologies might, then again u gotta protect it. Its a vicious cycle. Talk is cheap u gotta go out and get it or u starve to death ancient or modern. There are ancient creatures still surviving around thou much less they kill to survive no talk no TV no iPhone... omg no iPhone :( rofl....
