He also focused on Malay communal issues and did not comment on anything outside of the Malay realm. The moment he lost the elections, he seemed suddenly to be eager to make comments about Singapore at large. His press conference a few days after his loss at his ministry was a shocker. He was mumbling, make silly comments, tried to push his son into the limelight. Shows the quality of candidates that the PAP had all along. Nobody from the Malay community has time for him.

The Malay community has no time for the likes of Zainal and American Yakob because they are the "chosen ones" by the PAP, not by the Malay community. IF ( a very big IF) they had used the opportunity to lead the Malays out of the tunnel, then at least they would have contributed. As it is, they were seduced by the salary and the 'glory'.
