From what i heard, rear wheel drive is better control than front wheel drive, therefore i do not believe that they lost control with that.

Not a matter of easier or harder to control, when drivers switch to RWD, they don't realise their driving style must also change.

Most cars in singapore are FWD. For FWD, you steer towards the direction to correct it. Rear wheels tend to lose traction on corners and the driver must counter steer to align back to the original direction.

also 100 km/h is very slow, i only feel lost of control above 180 km/h in germany. it is very easy to control a car at 100 km/h, in fact i feel like running is faster than 100 km/h so slow.

Don't compare a rental made in australia commodore/toyota to german engineering. I bet the autobahn is better maintained than ozzie country roads.

i realise one thing, i never driven a rear wheel drive. so i have no comment any further.

if you think this is the case, then you should inform singaporean to rent a fwd in australia.

all i can said is automatic is easier to drive, i find it hard to believe. rental car are all insured, so as long she is safe. It is Ok.

Auto is easy to drive but females have very poor eye hand coordination, if they have never driven an auto before, then the car becomes a death trap, as they over accelerate and cannot control the brake and accelerator properly. I see many women use 2 feet to drive in auto car, left for brake and right for accelerator, once they panic, they forget which is acc and which is brake, step on the wrong one and the results are often tragic, like hurtling 5 stories down a MSCP.

2 feets? i cannot control with 2 feets, one feet will be not sensitive enough for small changes. only my right feet is train for small sensitive movement, i cannot drive with two feets.

lucky this is mainly a male forum, no gals here, if they are here, they will be very angry with the forummers sexists remarks.

What sexist? I am sad to say this, but I was only quoting what I have seen with my very own eyes, I noticed it straight away as the driver was new to auto car and after reading many instances in the papers of female drivers ramming into walls and crashing down MSCPs, I expected it, so the moment she entered the car to get into driving position I noticed it, and arrested and corrected that behavior immediately.

The Hell Minister did it again! On the dot as Hell's Gate closed last night. Go to Rwanda and watch little girls being raped for real entertainment. Send your useless old folks to die in Johor. Now he's looking into how to get rid of you from hospital and not to hinder you dying at home. Euthanasia by non-hinderance?

They are pushing for Euthanasia, for it will be a leegal way of killing you, especially if you are an opposition. Don't check into the hospital, they will fake some terminal illness & put you out... ha ha ha:D
